This policy brief provides a description offront-of-pack labeling (FOPL) systems, a broad view of current FOPL systems and policies across different countries, and their status of implementation in aid of local efforts to implement a comprehensive FOPL policy package in the Philippines. This brief further describes the effectiveness of FOPL systems in various contexts, and the recommended steps towards policy development.
