Established by HealthJustice in 2018, the Healthy Philippines Alliance (HPA) is a national coalition of civil society organizations united in their commitment to advancing the health and well-being of all Filipinos. With a central focus on addressing the growing burden of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) in the country, the HPA works closely with individuals affected by NCDs, healthcare professionals, academic institutions, and both government and non-government partners to develop practical, people-centered health solutions.

Through its efforts in policy advocacy, education, and community-based initiatives, HPA strongly advocates for the prioritization of preventive healthcare and the full implementation of the Universal Health Care law, ensuring that treatment and support for people living with NCDs are accessible, equitable, and sustained by a whole-of-government approach.

As part of the global network led by the NCD Alliance (NCDA), the HPA supports and advances NCDA’s mission to promote the prevention and management of noncommunicable diseases, including heart disease, cancer, diabetes, chronic respiratory illnesses, as well as mental health conditions.
