OUR GOALS

The Healthy Philippines Alliance strives to ensure that:

  • Universal Health Care Law and related relevant laws are safeguarded, protected and effectively implemented in the Philippines to ensure the right to health of all Filipinos.
  • Health policies, programs and services are made responsive through the participation of PLWNCDs in policy development and implementation.
  • Filipinos living with NCDs are able to access culturally appropriate, affordable and effective/high quality treatment, enabling them to manage, control, and treat their conditions without experiencing financial hardship.
  • The adoption and implementation of culturally appropriate international, regional and national guidelines for NCD prevention in the Philippines.
  • Increased advocacy capacity of HPA to push for an accelerated governmental action on NCDs.
