During the hearing in New York, USA, advocated for “comprehensive multi-sectoral and interdisciplinary approaches” involving civil society and government to tackle the burden of NCDs which includes policies prioritizing nutrition to reduce intake of sugar, sodium, and saturated fats in processed foods linked to NCDs.
